#19: A *NEW* kind of wedding inspiration board

So about those collage-y wedding inspiration boards that you see all over the Internet. You know - the ones that make us soon-to-be brides swoon and sigh, like this lovely one from Snippet & Ink:

Most of the time these inspiration boards show aesthetic highlights of a wedding, like the charming crafty projects, the gorgeous gown, and the color coordinated this-that-and-the-other. But I want to make one that depicts the emotional and spiritual highlights of my dream wedding.

Only thing is...umm, I don't actually know how to cut, crop, and paste images together on my computer to make it all collage-y like the one above. So the following little list will have to do. ;)

CEREMONY: Joy, laughter, and prayer...

LUNCH RECEPTION: community, simplicity, intimacy...

PARTY: Free-spirited, fun, and FUNKY...

  1. Oooh. I like.

You can make those collage boards for free with GIMP, or pay $60 and get Pixelmator, which is a fantastic program. Pixelmator is better for Mac, GIMP is fine for a PC.

  3. A great place to make collages is Dessy Group - it's free and yours can be equally pretty! I think you're on to something by making it an emotional board!

Babbling about weddings is so much more fun when people babble back. :)
