It's 24 hours before my wedding and I wish I had something brave and wise to say about engagement, marriage, love, life, yada yada yada...
But to be honest, I've got 16 items on my to-do list for today so I've only got time to make the following 4 announcements which I've listed from least to most important.
- I won't be updating Brave Bride while we're honeymoonin' over in San Francisco and Northern California. But I hope you'll come back here for my return on Monday, August 9th. (Oh, pretty please??!) Because I'm guessing I'll have a LOT to say by then.
- This week has been a hellish nightmare that at times made me wish we had eloped. And yet. It rocked.
- This week has taught me that it does indeed take a village to raise a marriage and prep for a wedding. My, my goodness I'm blessed in that department.
- I'm going to be a married woman - holy crap balls! And right now I feel all jittery and speechless and perfectly in the clouds.
Thank you all for reading, commenting, and sharing in the joy, pain, and laugh-out-loud-oops-I-just-passed-gas-that-was-so-hilarious kind of fun that engagement and wedding planning can be.
And on that note, see you all on the other side. Peace out!

Yay! Have an excellent loverly wedding and a wonderful, blissful honeymoon. Fingers crossed for no drama, major lovefest. :)
ReplyDeleteKim babe, your cyber village will be standing right there with you.
ReplyDeleteHere's hoping you have a great day and feel all the love your community brings for you xx
So how many people told you that you were getting married on the same day as Chelsea Clinton? I'm betting quite a few.
ReplyDeleteYou've been gone a couple of days and I miss you already xx
I can't wait to hear all about it (or at least as much as you feel you can share and still keep it special to you two!)
ReplyDeleteHAve a great time!!!
@ jolynn - Thanks! It was indeed a love fest but unfortunately it had lots of drama. (More details to come...)
ReplyDelete@ Moz - Thanks, girl. It was actually pretty cool to get married on the same day as Chelsea - her wedding was only a few hours away from mine in NY. And on my honeymoon I watched coverage of her wedding, which made me recall memories of mine.
Oh, and people were calling my mom "Hillary" at the wedding, haha. ;)
@ Kerry - I can't wait to share it with you! Just need to wait a few weeks until I get the photos back. For now I'll write about it here and there, and post some of the non-professional photos.
I'm also brainstorming about *how* I want to present my wedding to you guys. I don't want it to just be pretty pictures and fond memories. I want to offer you guys something that you can apply to your own lives (whether your engaged or not). The wheels in my head are turning. Hmmm... ;)
